How to keep offline games without filling your phone

May 2, 2026 · Marek Kowalczyk

Offline games pack everything into the install, so a library of them adds up fast. If your phone is constantly out of space, a little management goes a long way.

We rotate games in and out based on what we're actually playing. Most offline games let you clear the app but keep a small save file, so you can reinstall later and pick up where you stopped — check the settings before deleting.

Photos and video are usually the real culprits, not games. Moving those to cloud or a card frees up more room than uninstalling a couple of apps ever will.

Finally, watch the download size in the store listing before installing. A great two-hour adventure that's 90 MB is a much better use of space than a shallow game twice the size.
